Vanda Chernyshova
Vanda joined ForSea Solutions in 2020, bringing extensive experience in administrative project management and collaboration with local environmental authorities and research institutes. In her dynamic role, she coordinates communications among the bilingual team of experts, supervises junior staff, and skillfully prepares comprehensive reports for fishery pre-assessments, assessments, and fishery improvement projects (FIPs) to ensure successful multifaceted project outcomes, involving multiple stakeholders. While coordinating clients’ Chain of Custody (CoC) evaluations to ensure their compliance with Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standards, Vanda also represents clients during annual surveillance audits conducted by independent third-party assessment teams. Her focus lies in fostering smooth communication and effective collaboration with external auditors and prioritizing client satisfaction in delivering completed audits. Prior to joining ForSea Solutions, Vanda worked as an ecologist and sustainability specialist at leading aero-geodetic and coal mining companies in Eastern Siberia, Russia. Vanda holds dual Master's degrees in Meteorology from Irkutsk State University in Russia and in Environmental Management from Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel in Germany. She is a native of Russia, fluent in English and has a working knowledge of German.
