Anna Klevtcova
Anna has been the Program Administrator at ForSea Solutions since its founding in 2016. She focuses on administrative, logistic and technical support for ForSea Solutions’ fishery certification, Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) and Chain of Custody programs. She holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Geography from Irkutsk State University (2008) and Master of Natural Resources from North Carolina State University (2017). During her studies she has participated in the German-Russian summer school on Lake Baikal focusing on global environmental trends. Additionally, she gained practical experience as an environmental intern at the Institute of Geography in Russia and at Ocean Outcomes in Portland, Oregon. After graduating from NCSU, Anna worked as a geospatial analyst at the NC State University Center for Geospatial Analytics. In 2018, she joined the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Russia, focusing her scientific research on tiger conservation. Over the years, Anna has provided GIS support for various WCS Russia scientific projects, conducted GIS training workshops for conservationists and researchers across Russia, and published her research outcomes. Anna is a recipient of a number of grants and awards including Fulbright Foreign Scholarship (2014), Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship (2016), NASA-MSU Professional Enhancement Award (2017), WCS Robertson Big Cat Conservation Fellowship (2020), WildCat Conservation Alliance Professional Development Award (2023) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology at University of Florida. She is fluent in English and Russian.
